Projects I worked on
Below are some responsibilities and projects specific to work for clients and previous employeers
Worked as part of the Experience team with researchers, product and content designers and crossfunctionally serviced other teams across Deliveroo, including: CRM, marketing, brand, creative studio, restaurant marketing / operations, riders and Deliveroo for business.
Visual Design:
• Created wireframes and mock-ups for in vision and concepting projects for different areas that range from bespoke marketing campaigns, product user journeys, experiments and final production builds.
• Managed the CRM design and development workload, organising, prioritising and streamlining the process to accomodate high volume of briefs and initiatives.
Design Systems:
• Contributed to the evolution of the current CRM email design system, establishing guidelines and creating new components, as well as advicing for consistent use throughout the organisation.
Bespoke HTML and CSS:
• Created campaign and communications specific HTML/CSS code. Compatible with a wide range of email clients.
• Developed code for current and new template modules based in the design system updates.
• Maintained a library of assets and HTML templates for all different communications, including
development for international markets including Arabic and Cantonesse.
September 2018 - Present
• Developing the visual strategy and online guidelines for campaigns, competitions and promotions and their application through different EMEA markets and channels including desktop, mobile, social media, blogs and affiliates programs.
• Building, HTML/CSS coding and liaising with Digital Marketing agencies for production, A/B testing, database segmentation, sign off and deployment.
• Producing, updating and testing the UK, Germany and France CRM e-mails, including Welcome/registration series, abandoned basket, product review and back in stock.
March 2013 - December 2018
Explored critical approaches to photographic imagery and learned the technical skills of photography, whilst exploring images from haute couture to street style, from advertising campaigns to designer look-books.

Learned the Development of visual communication strategies over various broadcasting channels. Additionally, to have control over the whole graphic composition process applied to print or digital mass media, using solid theoretical, practical, and research foundations through design methodology in order to put their creativity at the service of the community to facilitate, contribute to, innovate, and influence the comprehensive communication processes of brands, individuals, and organizations.

CRM | E-mail marketing
Re-designed and implemented a new E-mail automated program to welcome new e-mail subscribers to the world of Crabtree & Evelyn, introducing them to the brand and values as well as incentivising for conversion.

Desktop / Mobile | UI Design
Collaborated and co-designed the 'Live Like The Captain' responsible drinking campaign for Captain Morgan, with the a team of designers, film director, producers and copywriters at agency 1000heads
Collection digital launch
La Source is the best-selling Spa collection for beauty brand Crabtree & Evelyn. In this project I designed the digital assets for the campaign, including home page, banners, landing pages, e-mail marketing, social media and display advertising.
Photography - Art Direction
Art directed, photographed and produced story images showcasing different looks. The main concept of this shoot was to create a story around nature and communicate the idea of a girl that gets lost in nature to finally find herself.
Responsiblities of this project included:
•Selecting the location and ensuring proper timings and scheduling.
•Directed the model and coordinated with the stylist, to manage the time and resources during the shoot accordingly.
•Image selection, processing and delivery.
Photography - Art direction
Art directed, photographed and produced story images showcasing the different gowns from Central Saint Martins Fashion designer Chloe.
Responsiblities of this project included:
•Selecting the location and ensuring proper timings and scheduling.
•Directed the model and coordinated with the stylist, to manage the time and resources during the shoot accordingly.
•Image selection, processing and delivery.
Photography - Retouching
Developed photographic studio work in collaboration with model agencies as well as other photographers.
Directed the models, photographed, selected and retouched imagery.
Recommendations about me and my work
Chris is a hard working, innovative designer. It was great to be able to bounce ideas off him and to be able to inspire each other. We worked together on a daily basis, working through e-mail briefs, banners and the international websites. He was always open to new ideas and happy to make changes at short notice. I especially liked the way he stuck to the brand guidelines but always made something new and refreshing. He would be a great leader in any team as well as happy to work with others. I would not hesitate recommending Chris to any future employer, I can't wait to see what he works on next and see the fantastic artwork that he creates.
